Artist Transforms Piece of Woods Into Beautiful Sculptures
United States based artist Jeffro Uitto transforms pieces of woods which are found on beeches into sculptures which are mostly animals. We have reached him to know more about his inspiration. Here what he had to say.
* How did you find your style? Has it changed since you started?
I found my medium when I was a small kid, creating things to play with, carving small objects. The style has evolved over the years in the sculptures I create today.
* What inspires you to create these amazing art work?
It's really nature inspired, the love and curiosity for the subjects and the infinity of materials. It's really humbling to see how many people connect with the work. It's also important to bring attention to these animals, their mysterious beauty and the extinction they face.
